Christmas Party
Every year my College course hosts an event to show the course to the rest of the college. This time the room was Polar Express themed, so I came up with the idea of building a train. Origianlly, I wanted it to be smaller and in the Foyer so it would be seen by everyone coming in. It got decided that we were going to turn the downstairs stage into a train.
Original Sketch
This is the design I drew after we decided what we were doing. I went off photos of real trains, most of what I used were western trains as we hadn't confirmed the theme yet.
Deciding Colours
We had restrictions on the types of paint we were able to use so I looked through the lists to find colours I thought would work. I then detailed how they were to be used to help the other members of the team creating it with me.
Finished Project
It wasn't perfect when we finished creating the train. We had had many setbacks during the process and things out of our control happened. However, I feel like it could've gone worse and it still surpised many of the people coming in.
